A summary of the official material for two new apps, SpAItial Echo-3 and Vigie 0.6.0. These are not hands-on reviews.

This week I looked at two new apps through their official material: one turns phone captures into 3D spaces, the other is a desktop window that follows coding sessions. I have not used either, so this summarizes what their makers say.

SpAItial Echo-3 (October 27). SpAItial released the Echo-3 model and an iPhone capture app. It turns a phone capture into a 3D space at real-world scale, and the model fills in areas that were not captured. The Android app is only described as coming. It is worth a look for space-introduction content or as an input tool for 3D assets. How accurate the dimensions are, and whether it beats other scanning apps, has not been independently confirmed, and I have not used it.

Vigie 0.6.0 (October 30). Its maker introduced a desktop window that follows Codex CLI sessions in real time. The GitHub release ships unsigned executables with SHA-256 files. For people who keep several coding sessions open, it is a candidate for seeing their status at a glance. It is an early tool from an individual maker and it is unsigned, so if you install it, check the hash first. I did not install or run it.

For Echo-3 the maker's description is all there is, and Vigie is an unsigned tool from an individual. Both are at the stage where you try them before judging, so read this as "these apps exist", not a recommendation. That is my interpretation.
