UX Tools asked 1,478 designers and product makers which tools they use every week. Figma is first (82.6%), as expected. The story is the two places behind it: Claude (50.8%) is second and ChatGPT (48.2%) third, two AI assistants ahead of every design tool but Figma. Five of the ten are AI tools. Claude Code (38.4%) ranks fourth, ahead of FigJam (34.0%) and Slack (32.7%). Also, 43.8% said about half or more of their building time goes to AI-generated code. The numbers are in the [original survey](https://www.uxtools.co/survey/2026/state-of-prototyping).

Respondents could pick several tools, so the shares add up to more than 100%. This is a ranking of weekly work tools among people who answered, not design software market share, and the list mixes design tools with AI assistants and collaboration tools. It reflects who took the survey, so it should not be read as usage across all designers. The raw data is on the [public API](https://survey.uxtools.co/api).
