Meta has released Waddle World, an AI virtual pet app, in the Philippines first. The news came out on October 28, and the app is on Meta's own [Philippine App Store](https://apps.apple.com/ph/app/waddle-world-ai-pet-journal/id6809943562) and [Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.meta.waddle) pages. The App Store already lists version 1.01 dated October 8.

Users pick a pet, grow it, feed it and play with it. The journal is the core feature: describe your day by voice or text and the pet writes an entry with a doodle. There are also mini-games that take a few minutes and a weekly email.

Meta describes the app as not a habit builder and not a chatbot, and flags it for users over 18. Meta has not said whether it will launch elsewhere, and pricing has not been reported.
