On November 3, Apple opened Siri AI to all developers. A new developer preview in the iOS, iPadOS, macOS and visionOS 27.3 betas lets any app pass its content and actions to Siri AI through App Intents, so people can ask for a custom action in their own words, such as checking a delivery, booking a reservation or placing an order. Apple also introduced skills, which combine several actions into one experience, and said Siri AI can surface any entity in the Spotlight semantic index, not only those that fit an existing schema.

Apple says the first customer release is a few months away and App Store submission opens in the spring. Terms and usage policies for experiences enabled through Siri AI will follow. The preview needs an Apple Intelligence device set to a supported language, and Korean is on the list. It is not yet available in the EU on iOS, iPadOS and watchOS, nor to users under 13. Apple is also holding engineer labs on November 4 and 5.
